Sell experiences

July 3, 2020

I have a vinyl record collection that I didn’t touch over the past three years.

Back in the day, this collection used to be precious to me – even though I barely put the records on my turntables.

Did I listen to the songs elsewhere? Hell yeah!

And I was not alone.

I know many record collectors who didn’t even unpack their vinyl to this day.

Keep that in mind when you create your offers.

Not everyone wants to listen to your physical mediums, it’s rather a souvenir.

So instead of selling a single CD, vinyl, or cassette, you can bundle it with amazing content.

From a digital download code to gadgets, to merch, to personal notes or fan meetings. Whatever it is you see fit best for your audience and your brand.

By bundling your offers, it’s not only a CD anymore.

You allow your fans to buy the experience.

And it’s well-known that people love to talk about positive experiences…

What’s been your best experience as a fan of someone else so far?

I’d love to hear from you.

I read and reply to every message.
