Here’s a neat exercise to get on the next level.
You can use any data. Monthly listeners, sync deals, written songs, published productions, etc.
For my example, I choose your current income.
First, write down your current income.
Multiply it by any number – 2, 3, 4, 10, 20 – and write it down.
Now look at the new number ask yourself this one question:
“Will I reach this number in the next five years with what I do today?”
If the answer is yes, double the new number until you clearly answer with no.
Finally, look at this new (potentially) frightening number and adjust your actions to your goal.
As I said before, you can put in whatever measurable data you have. This exercise can help you think bigger and find the right things to do to get there.
Don’t limit yourself with small or mediocre thinking.
